The 2nd COVID-19 booster shot is currently recommended for:
Adults ages 50 and older who received an initial COVID-19 booster dose at least four months ago may receive additional single booster dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
People ages 12 years and older who are moderately or severely immunocompromised who received an initial COVID-19 booster dose at least 4 months ago may receive a second booster dose of an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna). For people ages 12–17 years, only Pfizer-BioNTech can be used.
People 18-49 years of age who are not moderately to severely immunocompromised and who received the Janssen vaccine for both their primary and first booster doses, may receive a second booster dose with an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine at least 4 months after their first Janssen booster dose.
Please bring a completed consent for to your appointment. Consent forms can be printed below or picked up outside the front door of the Health Department. *Pediatric consent forms must be completed at the office at time of appointment.*
Covid-19 Testing is available from 9-10 a.m. Monday thru Thursday by appointment only. Please call 618-544-8798 by 9 a.m. to get on that day's testing schedule. Calls received after 9 a.m. will be scheduled the following testing day.
Please bring completed paper work if possible. Testing forms can be picked up outside the front door of the Health Department or printed from the link below.
