Environmental Health

One very important area of public health that isn’t generally thought about unless there is a problem is environmental health. Through our Environmental Health programs, we keep more residents healthy than through all of our other programs combined. Most people pretty well take it for granted that they won’t get sick when they go out to eat at a restaurant or get a drink of water from the tap, but without the Environmental Health programs, it could be a different story.
