Working together to create a healthier community for the people of Crawford County
After September 11th 2001, the vulnerability of Crawford County has been a key concern. In light of this, the Crawford County Health Department is in need of volunteers. The staff of the health department would not be adequate to completely handle all tasks required in the event of a disaster, either natural or man-made.
A variety of volunteers are needed to be trained and be on call in case of such a disaster. Necessary volunteers include medical professionals, secretaries, errand-runners, crowd control, etc. to help in the staffing of multi area clinics to be set up in the event of a terrorist attack or natural disaster.
If you are interested and are at least 18 years of age and have transportation, please contact us by phone, in person, or by mail. We will provide training. Please join our team with this special project.
An application can be found and printed here: application
